Venture Power Sliding Door Handle Is Stuck

I have a venture van with a stuck passenger side sliding door.

Venture power sliding door handle is stuck.

Passenger side sliding door stuck in closed position 98 of the time. Hasn t opened electricaly for some time but has opened manually either by inside or outside operator. Passenger is currently in theraphy for the injury. Power sliding door lock is stuck in the lock position.

I tried removing the fuse for power locks and sliding door i had the power sliding side door locks recalled on my 2003 venture at dealers expense. My driver door is stuck in the locked position. This is a common problem with almost any car that has power windows. We can no longer open the door.

Power lock doesn t operate off either front door switch and doesn t move nutch manually. My best guess is that you have a problem with the door window regulator that is preventing the window from closing properly. You need have the sliding door unlocked have someone pull the handle as if they were going to open. The sliding door handle is probably broken or getting there which is why you have trouble with it intermittently.

On friday november 12 2004 i entered the middle row of my son in law s new 2005 chevrolet venture. I have noticed that the outside door handles are also not going back to their normal state. 1999 venture van power sliding door wont open manually. If your sliding door works fine mechanically but stops when you use the power button the problem is a broken wire in the harness that travels with the door.

This vehicle is equipped with an automatic sliding rear side door. Power sliding door lock is stuck in the lock position.
